يضطلع القسم بتحليل كامل لأهداف ونتائج التعلم الخاصة بالمواد الدراسية النمطية، حيث تغطي المشاريع المقدمة للطلاب نتائج التعلم للمواد الأساسية للبرامج الفردية. مع ادراج المقترحات المقدمة من المجموعة الاستشارية الصناعية حول الموضوعات وستستند المشاريع إلى متطلبات الأوساط الصناعية، شريطة أن تكون هذه المشاريع متوافقة مع وملبية لمخرجات التعلم.
