IT Manager - Omani National Only

Minimum Qualification:
Bachelors in IT or any Similar Specialization

Experience:
Minimum 7 years experience

Language Requirement:
Proficiency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Description:
  • Implement the University’s IT strategy and execute the operational plans of the IT department at the College. 
  • Help define, review and approve IT infrastructure strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee IT staff, distribute tasks and evaluate their performance. 
  • Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to the hardware and software to ensure performance, outcomes and productivity quality performance.
  • Provide for staff and students of the College the required training on the utilization of IT equipment and software.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by line manager.

  • Problem solving and decision-making.
  • Commercial awareness Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Experience with information & educational technology advancements.
