Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor - Omani National Only

Minimum Qualification:
BA in Engineering, Administration or Facility Management or any relevant field

Experience:
Fresh Graduate

Language Requirement:
Proficiency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Description:
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Keep records of costs, time progress on works.
  • Inspect and provide maintenance work of plant facilities and equipment and building systems (conditioning, ventilation, lighting, etc.) and other facilities such as yards, sewers, etc periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
  • Put the annual budget of the campus maintenance and monitor expenditure.
  • Establish and maintain storage for maintenance materials and monitor inventory of materials and equipment.  
  • Supervise the power generators and distribution of power and other utilities in the campus.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors and manage contracts and insurance of services, equipment and systems.
  • Supervise the cleaning and upkeep of equipment, building, toilets, wash-rooms, etc.
  • Supervise the gardening works and watering interior plants
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the line manager. 

Requirement /Skills:
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (Reading, writing and speaking)
  • Fully conversant in MS Office (especially Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Security and Fire Inspection Procedures
  • knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timescales
